Soooooo, I realise I said I’d be writing again the next day but a party boat called our name and time has just flown by since.

I’m sure there are millions following this blog by now (scared to check and definitely prove myself wrong) so to bring everyone up to speed I’m super into music, and 2 months without my guitar has been very weird! So I set off into Hanoi not long ago to fix this. The first place was closed (Google is not trustworthy for opening hours here) but next door was a cute little guitar shop.

They had exactly what I was looking for; and I walked away with a beautiful little 3/4 size guitar and all the other bits for around $70. The night didn’t end there though. Before I could pick up another terrifying ‘Grab Bike’ to get back to the hostel (driving in Hanoi is ‘organised chaos’), I met a bunch of locals outside a cafe and jammed for a bit. Great fun and this was the first sign that Vietnam adore Maroon 5 – they knew all the lyrics!

Had some incredible nights since and so glad I picked it up! Love the idea of taking it back to the UK at the end of this all but we’ll have to see if it survives 3 more flights. See you on the next post guys…
